Pre-Production has finished.

As of today, full production and principle photography on Disconnect has started. We have several interviews filmed or recorded by phone, and have many more lined up with experts in a multitude of subjects, people that have suffered from disconnection, and Scientologists that wish to have their side represented in the film.

We are aiming to move on to post-production by the end of July, which will give us ample time to finish editing by the time festival submissions open in the fall. It is the hope of this filmmaker that Disconnect will be accepted to many film festivals around the United States (for 2009), and then the world (for 2010), educating people on the horrible practice of Scientology's forced excommunication.

This blog will serve as an outlet for the production team, as well as a place for information on the upcoming film and depository for extra footage, trailers, promotional materials, etc. In the coming week there will be a sneak peak posted as well as an interview with a recent victim of disconnection.

Please have a look at the links to the right of this blog to get a true understanding of what disconnection is, how Scientology implements it, and how it effects people that have fallen victim to it.

If you are someone or know people effected by disconnection and wish to have your/their story in this film, please contact me at disconnectfilm@gmail.com.

Stay tuned for more updates!
